Frequently Asked Questions

Embudu Village is located in South Male’ Atoll 20 km from Velana International Airport.

Embudu Village is just a 20-minute speedboat ride from Velana International Airport. Guests can choose between a shared speedboat transfer or a private speedboat transfer for a more exclusive experience. Please note that transfers are mandatory and must be arranged directly through the resort.

 

Shared boat transfer charges are as follows:

  • Until 31.10.2026 – US$95 per adult & US$47.50 per child
  • From 01.11.2026 – US$98 per adult & US$49 per child

Private transfer:

  • US$500 per person (minimum of two persons)

It is a 20 minutes speed boat journey from Velana International Airport to reach the resort.

The standard check-in time is at 14:00 hrs and check out is at 12:00 hrs.

Yes, upon exiting the arrival hall at Velana International Airport, please proceed to the resort booths visible upon your exit.

Our airport representative will welcome you at the Kaimoo Resorts and Hotels Booth A10 and direct you to your transfer to the resort.

While the resort has no specific dress code, guests are encouraged to dress conservatively during visits to the local community and nearby islands. Public nudity is not allowed.
